Review: College Bound

College Bound
College Bound by Lilia Ford
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I received this book through NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.

To be honest this has been one of the hardest books to review so far this year. It’s been three days since I put it down and I couldn’t figure out how I felt about it.

If I were to base my review entirely off of my feelings while reading the book I would give it two, maybe three stars. I was thoroughly disgusted and repulsed at times, yet found myself rooting for Natalie and Gareth (and getting slightly turned on).

After a few days of reviewing my thoughts I’ve come to realise that by having such conflicting feelings about a single piece of writing, doesn’t make the writing bad; it means the writer is really good.

Considering there is also a warning that the book contains “multiple scenes of bondage, spanking, ménage, and one potentially triggering scene of attempted rape” I’ve come to the conclusion that I love Lilia Ford’s writing and will be on the look out for her future works.
